The City of Jersey City will NOT be sponsoring 4th of July activities at Liberty State Park this year.
Macy's, however, will have a fireworks display on the Hudson River between 18th and 43rd Streets in New York City across from Weehauken and northern Hoboken. Their display is expected to be from 9:20 to 9:50 p.m.
Similar to the last two years, we do not expect the downtown/waterfront areas of Jersey City to have ideal viewing of the celebration, which may offer only very limited and obstructed views of the fireworks.
